From Our Founder - Vaibhav Gupta

Hello! I’m Vaibhav, the founder of Appfend. With over 14 years of experience in security engineering at companies like Amazon and Adobe, I’ve gained a deep insights into the security challenges faced by product businesses.

During my interactions with dev teams, it became evident that while the intent to shift left in security practices is strong, the resources necessary to train developers are either extremely limited or scattered. These smart engineers are eager to develop secure software but are hampered by the lack of accessible, comprehensive resources, & training that keeps pace with rapid development cycles

This realisation motivated me to create Appfend, with a mission to ensure 0% vulnerabilities leave the development environment. We aim to be the one-stop shop for developers, offering all the resources and training needed to master security engineering practices from requirements, to development, to deployment and further.
